We took the walking tour from the Tyrell Museum, and the guide was very knowledgeable. She explained the geology of this beautiful Park.

There is not a lot of the former coal mine left to see. The only building left is the former mine office and there is a bit of old equipment about. But there is a nice interpretive trail with waypoints with information about the mine and coal mining in the Drumheller area. The trail is easy to walk. A hawk kept flying about on the day I was there. I expect the meadow area was his hunting ground. I also found cacti blooming on the slopes. Quiet, not crowded. A nice stop.
