- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆From the wait at the door to the meal I wasn't impressed. There was our group of 3 and several other ladies behind us at the door waiting to be seated. People came by several times and didn't even acknowledge a crowd of people standing there. After about 15 minutes a lady came by and said Oh! It will be a few minutes we have no tables....uhhhh...I can SEE 8 empty tables from where I was standing, they didn't have reserved on them and they weren't positioned in a way that they were able to be used as a group table or something. Finally we are seated and then another 15 minutes goes by, meanwhile waitress after waitress stomps past us making sure to avoid eye contact. I was able to flag a young man clearing tables down to find our server. A young woman comes out and asks us what we would like for drinks, I asked her if she was our server she said no. I said it wasn't fair that she gets to handle our group of unhappy people at this point so get our actual person. She did so and out came the manager all of a sudden apologizing for the mix up, she had been one of the people stomping quickly by from the door to our seats. I'm my opinion, she should have noticed there was a table sitting there for what seemed like 100 passes with no drinks looking unhappy and confused. Either way she took our drink and food order and then told us the kitchen was backed up and could take an hour to get the food. Ok. By this point I counted all of the tables in this establishment and in the main dining area there were 18 tables. At least 6 servers on and 4 people seating or clearing tables...Get it together! I left no tip as one was not deserved at all...this town gets seriously busy in the summer and just because it's all tourism doesn't make your total fails at meager service OK.By Danielle Jastrau, May 21, 2017
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆We went in for dinner time. The restaurant side was busy but the lounge was almost empty. We sat at the bar and waited for them to clear a table outside. After 15 minutes of waiting inside I got tired and cleared one outside myself. We went for their date night special, if you buy two entrees you get an app for free. Which sounds amazing. The problem is that their entrees all have meat and I'm a vegetarian, when I asked if they could accommodate me somehow, they said they don't do that. Usually it is because of price, but the other meals I wanted to buy cost more than the entree my fiance was getting. I do not eat at a place that cannot accommodate my dietary needs, we went to Boston Pizza where I had an amazing quesadilla, and great service.By Ashley Irvine, May 20, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★My husband, our five year old daughter and one year old son came here for dinner during our vacation in Drumheller. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and promptly seated. Our waitress was very charming and endearing and the way she interacted with my children and indeed all of us really made us feel welcome and at ease. The menu is so full of delicious sounding appies and entrees that it's really hard to decide! I got the Guinness beef roast and my husband ordered the shepherds pie. Both meals were hearty, flavorful and so satisfying. Our calamari starter was crisp and delicious. Add the excellent service and the yummy food to the beautiful decor -- stained glass works of art! -- and you've got a recipe for an amazing dinner out. Jenna, who served us, is an absolute sweetheart of a woman!By M. L., November 05, 2016
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Very disappointed. Went for dinner on the night before Drumheller gran fondo After over an hour waiting for our food and a cold "hot" appetizer we asked to cancel our order. The owner came over and did not even offer an apology. When we were paying for our drinks we complimented the waitress as she had been very pleasant. However the owner claimed she didn't deserve a tip and as he made " five million" dollars a year he didn't have to put up with customers like us. Terrible attitude and she seemed afraid of the owner. This guy does not deserve your business . Run awayBy Alicean van der Voet, October 10, 2016
